Ball Chute

I did this activity with S when he was about a year old and he loved it then.  I tried it again today and he was just as interested.  I just taped a cardboard mailing tube (a wrapping paper one would work if you have smaller objects) at an angle to the shelves in our playroom with blue painter's tape.  We have tried using balls of varying mass, toy cars, and other small objects.  We have also put a basket at the bottom to catch the ball, but he also likes to see how far it will keep rolling. 

This is S trying to make it go "up" the chute- a lesson in gravity!
